Rooted in Tradition
Set within Simsim Restaurant, Iftar unfolds in a serene setting that reflects the calm and spirit of the season. Guests are invited to dine indoors or under the open sky, where the gentle Saadiyat breeze carries through the evening. As the sun sets, the soft melodies of a live oud player create a warm and immersive atmosphere.
A selection of live stations offers a diverse culinary journey. From comforting soups and a Japanese sushi bar to seafood on ice, international and oriental classics, and authentic Emirati specialties, each dish is prepared with care and respect for tradition.
Live carving stations add a touch of theatre, with dishes prepared to order, creating a relaxed and interactive dining experience.
Desserts celebrate flavours deeply rooted in the region. The ice cream experience features unique creations inspired by local favourites, including Jallab, Amar El Deen, Arabic coffee, Man wa Salwa, Ashta, dates, and rose water, alongside a playful Turkish ice cream station.
A dedicated Emirati dessert station, showcases traditional recipes prepared in-house, highlighting craftsmanship and heritage. The live kunafa station further enhances the experience, with freshly prepared, warm servings adding a sensory delight.
In collaboration with the Sheikh Zayed Foundation, a special section presents locally produced cheeses and labneh, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and community support.
