Jeddah is well known as the leisure capital and main business hub of Saudi Arabia, which makes it the ideal destination for both business travellers and families. King Abdulaziz International Airport is the nearest airport to the city at a little under 15 miles away.

King Fahd’s Fountain

This beautiful fountain, which is spotlighted in the Red Sea, is the tallest fountain in the world. The fountain — also known as Jeddah Fountain — shoots water up to a height of around 312 metres (1023 feet). This is a truly mesmerising sight, especially at night-time. 

Historic Jeddah

Historic Jeddah itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was a major port for trade routes on the Indian Ocean from 7th century AD. Historic Jeddah is also a gateway for pilgrims making the journey to Makkah. It is this dual role as a trade gateway and a pilgrimage gateway that has helped Jeddah become the multicultural centre it is today.


Naseef House

Nasseef House is a cultural centre and museum in Al Balad, the historic centre of Jeddah. The house was home to the Naseef family until the 1970s, when one of the members transformed it into a private library. Now the house features special exhibits and historians give lectures at the house.
