SQUASH 2008 in Al Ain Rotana

Al Ain June 12, 2008- The first squash tournament took place in Bodylines, Al Ain Rotana Hotel starting from June 8 untill June 12, 2008.

This tournament was going on for 5 continuous days with 26 professional squash players. There was also an awards ceremony on the last day of this competition.

Different prizes were distributed to players. However, Gavin Pinnington, the final winner, was given a one-year complimentary membership in Bodylines Health & Fitness Club at Al Ain Rotana and the runner up, Bilal Khan, was given a complimentary stay at Fujeirah Beach Resort & Spa.

This tournament was planned with the direct involvement of Al Ain Squash Club.

Mr. Ayman Gharib, general manager of Al Ain Rotana, commented on this event: "This is the first squash tournament in Al Ain Rotana after the re-opening of Bodylines. I believe people here are strongly looking forward for such events. At this moment, with completion of our expansion project, we are seriously planning to bring-in more of these events in the close future".
