The four day culinary extravaganza saw Rotana Master Chefs and Artists walk away with a total of 68 medals and 50 merits. Chefs and Artists from a wide selection of Rotana properties were nominated and honoured with awards in a cross-section of categories. The highlights of the competition this year included Rotana's recognition as the Best Culinary Effort by a Corporation, Chef Ahmed Al Daeikh from the Beach Rotana winning overall Best Arabian Cuisinier 2010, and Best Hygiene Practice Award overall on the cooking process for Chef Maren Ibrahim from Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana.

With the Beach Rotana alone claiming no less than 32 medals and Chefs from the 11 participated properties in the UAE also awarded with medals, the success at Gulf Food, one of the leading food industry events in the region, confirms that Rotana's reputation for operating some of the best food and beverage outlets in the hospitality industry is well earned.
