Rotana Hotels in the UAE have joined their forces in the recent Emirates International Salon Culinaire 2008 held within one of the largest food exhibitions in the region, Gulfood 2008. The hotel group was represented by teams of master chefs from its flagship properties Al Bustan Rotana, Al Murooj Rotana, Towers Rotana Dubai and Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, which entered this prestigious competition in various categories.

The four days of this culinary extravaganza turned out to be extremely successful resulting in 10 gold, 15 silver, 29 bronze medals and 23 merit certificates.

Commenting on this overwhelming achievement, Mr. Omer Kaddouri, Area Vice President Dubai & Northern Emirates said: “Rotana Hotels have gained a very strong position in the market with many exquisite dining experience provided to our guests. The talent of our chefs is the core element behind this success. The Salon Culinaire is an excellent opportunity for them to demonstrate their creativity in food preparation as well as present innovative ideas to the public.
